06-09-11 B-Day Storm Bust

I call this chase my Bday bust chase as by the time I got off work Storms were firing down in North Eastern Kansas and I though I might have time to get down there but I left later than anticipated and drove about an hour and could see that the sun was going to be setting in about another hour so I was east of Beatrice and decided to turn back.I got a few photos then went home. I was able though to go out later that night and get some lightning photos from some storms that were around Waverly, NE. So the day wasn't a total loss.
